Case Review Calculator

The Case Review Calculator determines the minimum number of random case reviews required to meet ACE standards. This is calculated per discipline and provided in both annual and monthly format.

Handbook

Review the handbook to stay up-to-date on the IAED’s policies and procedures for Accreditation.

20 Points

The Twenty Points of Accreditation requirements are presented as a standard for EMS/Fire/Police/Nurse Triage agencies to become officially recognized as an Accredited Center of Excellence. To apply for Accreditation, an agency must submit a portfolio that documents attainment of each accreditation point and subpoint.

ACE Policies

In order to maintain clear, transparent, and consistent principles and courses of action for all Accreditation Centers of Excellence, the IAED has established the following policies.

Accreditation Fees

ACE Fees

A $2,250 processing and review fee applies to all Accreditation applications. A portion of this fee ($500) will be refunded if the application is not approved. If the application requires the submission of 25 more cases for review, an additional fee of $100 will be assessed. There is also a one-time $1,500 site visit fee for new ACEs.

Maintenance Plan

If at the time of your Accreditation you wish to enroll in the Accreditation Maintenance Plan, your agency will be billed $650/year over your 3-year Accreditation period, reducing the total Re-Accreditation fee to $1,950 nonrefundable (a $300 savings).
